Canon 1014XLS disassembly

Does anyone know how the handle/battery compartment comes apart? I need to take one apart for cleaning some battery corrosion. Thanks

Whatever the directions are for doing this, are going to be much more complicated than what someone can tell you here.These cameras are far more complex than most people imagine.
You need to find a service manual for the camera before you start ripping it apart.
There are places that sell manuals online.
They're expensive, but worth it.
